Battery & Jump Start Service
Car battery can go flat for various reasons, we’re here to help whenever this happens.
Fuel Delivery Service
Up to US$20 fuel to reach the nearest gas station (we can also assist getting you to your desired location for an additional small charge).

Vehicle troubles may include towing (where no police report is filed in the event of an accident or personal injuries.)

NOTE: renter of the vehicle/s will be responsible for the cost of non-warrantable tire repair, lost-key replacement or other additional services not covered in this addon service.
- Carry a valid driver’s license from your country of origin. ( NO international driver’s permit is required ). You can get a mandatory visitor’s permit to drive in Barbados.
- Parking areas marked as P within Bridgetown (within city limits). Although Barbados is a safe destination to visit, parking in well-lit areas for safety is highly recommended.
- When you decide to rent a car in Barbados and drive around the main cities, avoiding rush-hour traffic on the island heading towards Bridgetown (the capital city of Barbados) during morning and or afternoon peak hour traffic. This is especially important when you need to catch your next flight.
- Most of Barbados’s roads are one lane in either direction. Many country roads are poorly lit during night, caution must be practiced when driving at night.
- Wearing seat belts are required by law (for both drivers and passengers).

We used Drive Barbados for a Moke. The car was what we wanted, their pricing was fair, their service was prompt and all communication was good. As it turned out a fault later occurred with the car (these things can happened) but I was pleased with the speed and way in which they promptly provided an alternative vehicle – I believe problems with their cars are rare but it is good to know you are dealing with people who promptly and conscientiously resolve problems. Strongly recommended.

Barbados’s age requirement for car rental is 21. Usually, the requirement is 2-5 years of driving experience. In addition, elderly citizens (70+ years of age) wanting to rent a vehicle to drive is required to have a medical certificate from a local doctor.
